Ferencvaros have beaten Budapest Honved 1-0 in Hungarian Cup quarterfinals on Tuesday, the 1st of March. The only goal was scored by Tokmac on the 23rd minute.
“We knew that it is going to be a tough away match against Honved. We showed a fine performance in the first half and could possibly have created more scoring opportunities but the game calmed down after we scored. I am glad that we have qualified to the semi-final and am thankful to the fans for their support”, said Cherchesov at the press conference.
Hungarian Cup semi-final will take place on the 20th of April.
