Akhmat will take on Orenburg at home In the 5th round of the group stage of the RPL Path in the 2025/26 Russian Cup.

The match will be played on Tuesday, September 30 at Akhmat Arena in Grozny. Kickoff is at 19:30 CET.

 

This will be the third meeting between Stanislav Cherchesov’s Akhmat and Orenburg in the past two months. On August 13, Akhmat fell 1–2 to Orenburg in a Russian Cup tie, while on August 22 the teams shared the points in a 2–2 draw in the Russian Premier League.

 

It is also worth noting that Cherchesov faced Orenburg once earlier in his career, on April 7, 2011, while in charge of Zhemchuzhina Sochi. In that Round 2 FNL fixture, the Sochi side earned a 2–0 away victory.
