Ferencvaros held to a 0-0 draw by MTK Budapest

Ferencvaros has been held to a goalless draw in a Budapest derby against MTK on Saturday, the
19th of February.

Kristoffer Zachariassen scored for Ferencvaros on the 78th minute but the goal was overtuned by
VAR due to an offside.

"Unfortunately, we lost two points on Saturday," We tried our best to score three points, but the home side defended very well and we failed at exploiting our opportunities. Zachariassen's overturned goal? I think a coach has the same feelings as players in such moments. We were planning to substitute Zachariassen immediately after the goal. But we were not prepared that we would have to start over from 0-0.

I think that we did not exert enough pressure upon the home side in the first half. We did it well after the break. We created numerous opportunities which was exactly what we lacked in the first half. Auzqui and Marquinhos performed well on Saturday though we want to see a lot more of them. Development is a continuous process and it takes time", said Cherchesov at a press conference after the match.
