Ferencvaros have beaten Kisvarda 2-1 in the Hungarian OTP Bank Liga Gameweek 23. Kisvarda took the lead in the first half through a penalty assigned for hand play. Substitute Boli equalized in the beginning of the second half and Tokmac secured Ferencvaros a win on the first added minute. 

 

"We knew that the visiting side is a very good team and expected a tough match. This is a very important win. The two halves were quite different. We did not perform at our best in the first half but analyzed our mistakes during the break and made some tactical changes. I wanted to raise my voice during the break but that would not have helped in that situation. The players know when they underperform and they need support rather than hear somebody yelling. The squad and our fans are of primary importance for me. I am happy about the victory but the key thing is that we secured the win together, as a whole", said Cherchesov at a press conference. 

 

Ferencvaros are leading the table with 46 points after 23 matches. Kisvard is five points behind, on position three.
