Ferencvaros beat Budapest Honved 2-1

Ferencvaros have beaten Budapest Honved 2-1 in OTP Bank Liga Gameweek 28 match on Saturday, the 16th of April.

Ryan Mmaee had put Ferencvaros 1-0 up only 8 minutes into the game, but a Zsótér free kick goal on the 38th minute dragged Honved back level. But Ferencvaros still had the final say, scoring just 3 minutes before the final whistle.

"Congratulations to the team, as we played a very difficult match on Saturday. We knew and expected that it wouldn't be easy. Each match lasts 90 minutes. After our first goal, we lost a bit of our concentration, the home side managed to come up and I wanted to correct certain mistakes during the break, and we made tactical substitutions in the second half. The team has managed to show character, I am very happy about that. We didn't play at our best throughout the entire match, but we earned three very important points", said Stanislav Cherchesov at a press conference after the match.
