Ferencvaros will face FC Paks in the home match of OTP Bank Liga Gameweek 15 on Wednesday, the 9th of November. The match will take place at Groupama Arena stadium in Budapest. Kick-off is at 18:15 CET.

 

FC Paks was founded in 1952 and performs in NB I league since the 2006/07 season. In the 2010–11 Hungarian Division, the team finished second and qualified for the Europa League 2011–12 season.

This is going to be the fourth match against Paks with Stanislav Cherchesov as Ferencvaros coach. While Ferencvaros lost their first match against Paks 0-3 in the beginning of this year, Ferencvaros won two matches later in the season - 2-1 in the Hungarian League and 3-0 in the Hungarian Cup Final. 

 

"After the match against MOL Fehérvár we only had two days for preparations. Even though we haven't played against Paks this season, we know the team well. The last time we played against them was in the Hungarian Cup Final. The players and the coaching staff have thoroughly prepared to the match. We know that Paks have quality players and our task is to stop them. This is also going to be the last home match of Ferencvaros this year and it is particularly important for us to win and secure 3 points tonight", said Stanislav Cherchesov to the official website of Ferencvaros before the match. 

 

This is going to be the 50th official match of Stanislav Cherchesov as Ferencvaros coach.
